Plainsman Celadon Cone 10R| Code | 77E06B |
| Modification Date | 2011-02-17 11:06:06 |
| Description | Standard celadon used at Plainsman Clays for many years |
Recipe| Material | Amount | Units | +/- | *Stat |
| Custer Feldspar | 25.00 | kg | | |
| Whiting | 13.70 | kg | | |
| EPK | 18.60 | kg | | |
| Silica | 30.40 | kg | | |
| Dolomite | 8.30 | kg | | |
| Iron Oxide Red | 3.50 | kg | | |
| | 99.50 | |
NotesJust adjust the amount of iron to get the shade of green you want (from 1.5-5%). Notice that unlike many other celadons, this does not have a huge amount of feldspar to contribute Na2O and K2O (some celadons have 60% or more feldspar which makes them almost certain to craze!). If this crazes just try adding a little silica.
